Preschool registration information for the 2025-2026 school year is now available!
Preschool applications will be available online beginning Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 4:00 pm and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Qualifying children must be Iowa residents and four years old by September 15 of that school year. For example, preschool students for the 2025-2026 school year must be four years old by September 15, 2025.
All preschools within the Sioux City Community School District are affiliates of the Preschool Initiative Program and are offered at nine locations.

Bryant Elementary
Clark Early Childhood Center
Leeds Elementary
Morningside STEM Elementary
Riverside Elementary
Spalding Park Environmental Sciences Elementary
Unity Elementary
The Sioux City Community School District has a limited number of preschool openings; therefore applicants are encouraged to apply when registration opens.

Certified teacher in every classroom
Low student to teacher ratio of 1:10
A set curriculum
State verification that our program follows state standards
Regular Assessments and conferences to monitor your child’s progress
